Dorris Havemeyer struggles to celebrate a special night with her husband Alvin.

Dorris 85 premiered at the Charlotte Film Festival in 2019 and was awarded Best International Short at Oxford Shorts 2020.

Despite its festival run coming just before and during the pandemic, the film was screened in New York, Paris, Buffalo, and many virtual festivals.
