Dorris, a caring but tired woman, attempts some semblance of normalcy with her husband while celebrating a special occasion that’s just like any other night.

Dorris 85 premiered at the Charlotte Film Festival in 2019 and was awarded Best International Short at the Oxford International Short Film Festival 2020.

Despite its festival run coming just before and during the pandemic, the film was screened in New York, Paris, Buffalo, and many virtual festivals.
